About Blue Springs

Established in 2011, Downtown Blue Springs Main Street, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the revitalization of Downtown Blue Springs, Missouri. ‘Blue Springs Downtown Alive!’ members include stakeholders consisting of downtown merchants, the City, EDC, Chamber, Blue Springs Business Association, Historical Society and business outside downtown area.

Downtown Blue Springs Main Street follows the Main Street Four-Point Approach®, a system that has been used successfully in over 110 cities in Missouri. The Four Points include Organization, Economic Restructuring, Design and Promotion. Program participants including business owners and community stakeholders have been organized into committees based on these Four Points.

Our Vision is a healthy, vibrant downtown, creating a great city in which to live, work, shop and play for the benefit of all residents and businesses in Blue Springs.

Mission Statement
The mission of ‘Blue Springs Downtown Alive!’ is to engage in historic preservation, revitalization activities and education; by encouraging the cooperation of downtown merchants, property owners, residents and partners, creating a positive image of downtown, strengthening the economic base and providing design education to improve the appearance and vitality of the Downtown Area.
